Just as Noah tenderly put out his hand and drew the dove to himself, into a safe resting place, Jesus tenderly draws us to Himself, our safe resting place. Jesus says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and heavy laden (weary and burdened), and I will give you rest”; Matthew 11:28. He is the Rest-Giver. He gives what no one else can. Come and rest in Jesus, your ark of safety.
