…I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven:  and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Matthew 16:19

Is Satan harassing you?  Could it be that you have cracked open a door and he’s walked right in?  Besides being a liar, he is a thief.  The thief comes “only” to steal and kill and destroy; but Jesus has come so that we may have life, and have it to the full; John 10:10.  Cracking open a door to Satan means you’ve allowed sin in your life.  It may have seemed like a small thing, but has become invadingly full blown.  Now you find yourself oppressed and harassed by his nightmarish games, and your once fulfilled life, with its joy, is gone.  Well, I have good news for you!  It’s time to take it back!  It’s time to put an end to Satan’s charades!  And, how to do this is not hard.  First, you must be a blood bought child of God, meaning, you have accepted Jesus as your Savior.  You must desire God ways, versus Satan’s.   Come into agreement with God that His ways are right and repent, tell God you are sorry.  His word says to bind that thing.  The Greek meaning of bind is to prohibit, meaning we put a stop to something.  We loose that sin.  Loosed in the Greek means dissolve, break, destroy, release, etc.  Then maintain your position on this, as you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you; Philippians 4:13.   You may have times of temptation, but the word says submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you; James 4:7.   Walk in the ninth fruit of the Spirit, which is self-control, allowing the Holy Spirit to be in control.  Saturate yourself with the word of God.  Spend time in your love relationship with Him, through prayer, praise and worship.  In His presence is fullness of joy; Psalm 16:11.  Love Him more than you do that sin.  Accept His forgiveness and forgive yourself, then live in His love, peace and joy.  Allow Him to restore you completely, so you can share victory with others.  Jesus said He came to proclaim liberty to the captives, and set the oppressed free; Luke 4:18.  He also said He came to destroy the works of the devil; I John 3:8.

P.S. There may be times when you will have to verbally tell Satan to get behind you like Jesus did.  When we are God’s child we are given spiritual authority, and have the right to use His name.
